That's Not My Neighbor is a unique psychological horror game where players must rely on their powers of observation and deduction to navigate high-tension situations. Unlike traditional horror games that focus on action or jump scares, That's Not My Neighbor builds pressure through life-or-death decisions. Every time you open the door, you face a choice that could be correct or a fatal mistake, making the game a true test of your alertness and nerve.

In the game, you take on the role of a security guard at an apartment complex in 1955. Your daily task is to verify the identities of those seeking entry and stop Doppelgangers—creatures capable of near-perfect human mimicry. They can replicate appearances, documents, and even behaviors, making it incredibly difficult to distinguish the real from the fake. Consequently, every decision must be made only after careful observation.

The gameplay requires you to meticulously check documents, cross-referencing portraits, dates of birth, apartment numbers, and other relevant details. Additionally, unusual facial expressions or illogical responses can signal an imposter. Overlooking even a minor detail could lead you to inadvertently let a Doppelganger into the building, resulting in dire consequences.

As you play, the difficulty escalates. Situations become more complex, the volume of residents increases, and the imposters become increasingly sophisticated. This forces players to remain calm, maintain intense focus, and make rapid decisions during every shift. It is this constant sense of suspense that gives the game its unique appeal. Beyond its innovative gameplay, That's Not My Neighbor impresses with a retro art style, a dark color palette, and haunting sound effects. Every knock on the door and every conversation contributes to a tense atmosphere, keeping players under constant pressure throughout the experience.
